Another 'Nate the Great' Activity...

Jade finished reading the other half of "Nate the Great" so we decided to do the other fun activity in the back of the book.  Technically, it was to make cat shaped crayons but since we didn't have any cat molds, we made lips.  We just took the paper off the crayons, broke them into pieces, put them in a paper cup, and microwaved them in 1 min increments, stirring in-between.  Then, when it was all melted, we poured them into the mold and popped them into the fridge.  After they got a chance to harden, we popped them out, and the girls had lip-shaped crayons.  Jade's looks like its black, but it actually colors blue.  I imagine we will make these again sometime.

THANKSGIVING 2012

This year, Matt and I were especially aware of all the blessings in our life! 

God has blessed us so much and we are so incredibly thankful!
